With substantial performance improvements by Shyotl.NEW UPDATE: So, I log into SL, and the voice is instantly working and I had Discord open when I logged in. And I've chatted with others on my place without having this issue before. So, clearly, something is going on between the the SLVoice portion of the Viewers, it not allowing to access the microphone unless you accidentally relog on the Voice Echo Canyon.Īnyone else have a similar issue? Any idea what it means? And any idea on how I can solve it?ĪDDITIONAL EDIT: BTW, the voice chat normally works at my place The land is set to Everyone for voice, so no group tag is needed. Just to confirm, I went back to my place, logged back off, logged on and the voice wasn't working again.

I thought about what happened when I went to the Voice Echo Canyon, went there, logged off, logged back in and sure enough, the voice came back on. When I got back on later, I had the same damn issue with the voice not working again. So, I TPed home, decided to log off for the night. When I checked the Microphone access, it showed that it was using the microphone no problem. When I logged back on, the Voice was working, no problem. I accidentally closed down Firestorm by accident and then opened it back. Now, I continued on to try to troubleshoot, I went to the Voice Echo Canyon, trying to see if I could get it to work. After looking around in my files, I found a text file filled with Errors saying - 06:25:17.000: ERROR VivoxClient::Client::BeginShutdown(314) vmr.GetResult()=3061Īfter scrolling down farther, I found one that said this - 07:46:48.000: ERROR VivoxClient::LoginContext::OnWebClientLogoutCompleted(918) m_webClient->EndLogout() failed - this=0x1ec13841fe0,vmr.GetResult()=3005 It showed that SLVoice had last accessed the microphone the day before I noticed a problem. After following some troubleshooting, I found the Microphone permission section (Windows 10), which shows what apps had access the microphone. I checked my Firewall, SLVoice is allowed access the Internet, Firestorm too. But then, for some odd reason, the Viewer wasn't allowing Voice chat for me. So, here's what's going on.Ī while ago, voice was working well, no problems.

Now, I know it seems odd, but it apparently also affects the regular SL Viewer on my PC as well (I installed it, had the same issue of the Voice not working at all). So, the past couple of days I've been trying to troubleshoot an issue with the voice portion of Firestorm Viewer.
